To suit the extension of their Parkside bungalow, the clients sought an open-plan living space and an impressive “entertainers’ kitchen” came to life. With a large family and a cooking enthusiast, they sought a no-fuss solution. The addition of a butler’s pantry and laundry allowed for concealed working areas while providing a wow factor. Dark cabinetry paired with grand waterfall benchtops and contrasting light finishes achieved a striking yet fresh look. Porcelain sheets mapped the home’s story, seamlessly blending old and new. Blackbutt timber flooring honoured the character of the original Australian home, while stainless-steel appliances brought functionality and modernity to the space. The Ensuite and Bathroom were enhanced with moody elements, featuring ambient lighting and stylish angled feature tiles that beautifully complemented the original windows and architraves.
